Cleveland Cavaliers center Ante Zizic is out indefinitely after being diagnosed with a vestibular condition that causes dizziness and nausea, the team said Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Croatian has missed the last five games. The Cavaliers plan to continue resting him to further evaluate his symptoms.
"It's hard because he's a ways away, it looks like," coach John Beilein told Cleveland.com.
Zizic has not played since taking an accidental elbow to the head during a Jan. 11 win over the Denver Nuggets.
In his third NBA season, Zizic is averaging 4.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 9.9 minutes in 16 games off the Cleveland bench this season. He set career highs last season with 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 59 games (25 starts).
